No sooner did we publish our recent articles about new padel clubs coming to New Orleans and Branford, CT than we got a whole slew of people reaching out with information about other new U.S. padel club openings that should be on every padel addict’s radar, including:
Padel Club, West Palm Beach, FL:
While Ace Padel also has plans to bring a club to the area later this year or early next year, the simply named Padel Club will be the first to open in Palm Beach County early this fall.
The club will feature three outdoor courts and one indoor court, along with a luxurious clubhouse, café, lounge and locker rooms, with ample indoor and outdoor seating designed to provide a relaxed atmosphere for socializing and networking among members and guests.
Local interior designer Caitlin Kay Interiors is designing the clubhouse decor, which will feature an aesthetic that is inspired by European social and sports clubs, but with a Palm Beach twist.
Padel Club co-founder Anders Sulisalo says, “Our goal is to create a space where both seasoned players and newcomers can experience the excitement of padel in a welcoming and dynamic environment.”
Pulse Padel Hub, North Miami, FL:
Located in North Miami with a total of six courts, the recently opened Pulse Padel Hub bills itself as, “not just as a destination for padel players but also a convenient choice for those who value stress-free parking” and encourages padel junkies to, “visit us and experience the joy of arriving, parking, and playing without a hitch.”
Furthermore, the team behind Pulse says, “We’re not just a club; we’re a community of padel enthusiasts who are dedicated to creating an environment where players of all levels can thrive. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner looking to pick up a new sport, our club is the perfect place for you.”
According to a post on their Instagram page, they will be hosting a National Padel League tournament this Saturday, July 27, as well.
La Casa Del Padel, Overland Park, KS:
Shortly after publishing an article about five clubs leading the padel revolution in the Midwest, I had Hungarian pro soccer player Dániel Sallói (of the Sporting Kansas City franchise in the MLS) reach out to me to let me know he was part of a group that would soon be bringing padel to the greater Kansas City area in the form of a club called La Casa Del Padel.
According to their website, “Six professional soccer players formed a tight-knit bond while playing for Sporting Kansas City, united by their shared love for the beautiful game. Their companionship extended beyond the soccer field, as they discovered a mutual interest in padel, a sport that captivated their competitive spirits and deepened their friendship. This shared enthusiasm quickly evolved into a passion, driving them to introduce and popularize padel in Kansas City.
Determined to bring this exciting sport to their community and aiming to create a new sporting culture in their beloved city, Andreu Fontas, Daniel Salloi, Johnny Russell, Graham Zusi, Roger Espinoza and Uri Rosell are joined by engineer Jamie Mahoney to launch La Casa del Padel.”
Slated to open at the end of the summer, the club will feature two outdoor courts adjacent to the Overland Park Racquet Club in the K.C. suburb of Overland Park, KS and has some big names lined up for its grand opening celebrations. So be sure to keep an eye on their Instagram page for updates.
Sunset Padel, Miami Beach, FL:
Miami Beach will soon gets its first-ever padel club when Sunset Padel opens its chic-looking, four-court indoor facility less than a mile from the Miami Beach Convention Center, which hosted the inaugural RacquetX conference this past March.
Sunset Padel bills itself as “a premiere destination, equipped with the most modern indoor courts and advanced lighting technology” that isn’t just a club, but also a community. In addition to padel, the club will feature an upscale juice bar and lounge, stretching and recovery area, and high-end changing rooms with showers. For further updates, be sure to follow their Instagram page.
& Padel, Oakland, NJ:
Until very recently I had never heard of Bergen County, NJ, but it is now home to not just one but two padel facilities: Padel United Sports Club in Cresskill and & Padel in Oakland — which features three indoor courts with 40-foot-high ceilings(!).
Of their club & Padel says, “We are passionate about bringing the vibrant, energetic world of padel to Oakland, New Jersey. Our mission is to foster a community where the thrill of the game seamlessly blends with the joy of post-match camaraderie. Our padel club is a great fit for New Jersey because it offers state-of-the-art facilities and expert coaching, conveniently located to serve diverse communities.”
Head padel coach Juan Silva — who was born in Columbia, started playing racket sports at eight years old, and played college tennis for four years before discovering padel — adds, “I’m determined to make padel a household name here and across the country. Whether you’re just starting out or you’re a seasoned player looking to take your game to the next level, we have the knowledge and the enthusiasm to help you succeed. From mastering the basics to fine-tuning your technique, I’ll be by your side every step of the way.”
