Along with a small handful of other padel strongholds like Houston, Miami has always been at the forefront of the U.S. padel revolution — and has recently cemented itself as a truly global padel mecca with the opening of clubs like Padel X and the massive expansion at Ultra Padel Club. But now the rest of the state is starting to follow suit. Here are just a few of the Florida padel clubs that have recently opened — or are about to:

10BY20, one of many new Florida padel clubs

10BY20, Fort Lauderdale, FL: 10BY20 is notable for multiple reasons, including the fact that they are backed in part by Puerto Rican hip-hop legend and Flowrida Goats owner, Daddy Yankee, and they are planning to launch not just one — but six — padel clubs around Florida and Puerto Rico in the near future.

All told, the team behind 10BY20 plans to open 40 total padel courts across these six clubs, the first five of which are already soft-opened at their new Fort Lauderdale location — which features state of the art lighting, a snack bar, a pro shop, and changing rooms with showers and lockers.

Open now 7am – 11:30pm daily

Champions Padel Club, Doral, FL: Just a few miles due west of Miami International Airport in Doral, you’ll find Champions, a new five-court indoor padel club powered by Playbypoint.

In addition to padel, the club offers a large bar, cafe, and social area. Champions has also been regularly hosting events including Americano and Mexicano tournaments, and they will be hosting a 48-team “Doral Padel Cup” the weekend of June 22 – 23 with $4,000 in prizes being offered by RedPADEL and other sponsors.

Open now 7am – 11:30pm M – F, 8am – 11:30pm Sat, 8am – 7pm Sun

Champions, one of many Florida padel clubs

Rally Club, Boynton Beach, FL: While the primarily squash-focused Kinetic Indoor Racquet Club was the first club to offer padel in the area, the soon-to-open Rally Club looks take things to a whole new level with its 10 air-conditioned indoor courts and elite training academy.

In addition to padel, there will also be seven air-conditioned indoor pickleball courts and a luxurious spa spread across this massive 70,000 square foot facility conveniently located between Delray Beach and Palm Beach.

Estimated Opening Date: Summer 2024

Platinum Padel, North Miami, FL: As we previously reported, North Miami is among the latest Florida enclaves to get a top-tier padel club in the form of a soon-to-open facility with six outdoor courts that bills itself as, “a masterpiece of functionality and style… where the spirit of the game meets luxury and vibrance.”

Platinum Padel features “tour-level surfaces, ambient lighting, and spectator areas that echo the glamour of a VIP lounge.”

Beyond the courts you can, “indulge in upscale amenities, including a chic pro shop, deluxe locker rooms, and a lavish lounge area for post-match relaxation and socializing.”

Estimated Opening Date: Summer 2024

The Pad, Sarasota, FL: After opening one of the first padel clubs in Canada just a few minutes outside of downtown Toronto, the padel-loving team behind The Pad will soon be opening one of the first padel clubs on the west coast of Florida.

The Pad Sarasota will feature four indoor courts, plenty of social space, a bar/dining area, and a fully stocked pro shop. Given The Pad’s affiliation with RedPADEL, it’s also no surprise that The Pad Sarasota was originally scheduled to host one of RedPADEL’s official 2024 circuit tournaments July 13 – 14 with $7,500 in prize money up for grabs (though that event has since been moved to 10BY20 in Fort Lauderdale with a $5,000 prize pool).

Estimated Opening Date: Summer 2024

i95 Padel, Miami, FL: About eight miles straight up Interstate 95 from downtown Miami, the aptly-named i95 Padel will soon be bringing several much-needed indoor padel courts to the greater Miami area.

While details are somewhat sparse at this point, i95 Padel promises to be, “the epicenter of padel in Miami [with] top-notch facilities, a pro shop, e-commerce, and gastronomy.” They also plan to offer an academy and clinics while fostering a “community passionate about excellence, fun, and competitiveness.”

Estimated Opening Date: Summer 2024
