Park Padel first made its mark on the U.S. padel scene in 2023 by opening two stunning pop-up courts on the Embarcadero in the heart of San Francisco. Now, only about a year later, they’re preparing to open not just one, but two, new padel clubs in Northern California — one in South San Francisco and another right on the river in downtown Sacramento.

Park Padel’s original San Francisco location

As I learned in a recent conversation with Park Padel co-founder and CEO, Jessica Talbert, the first of these two new locations — at Oyster Point in South San Francisco — is set to open on November 2nd and will feature six indoor courts with pleasantly high 30-foot ceilings.

With the opening of this South San Francisco club, Park Padel will also begin offering a “Bay Area Multi-Club Membership” option that gives players in the area the chance to enjoy Premier Membership pricing and perks at both Bay Area locations for a single monthly membership fee of just $200.

The club, located just minutes north of San Francisco International Airport, will also feature clinics, group and private lessons, weekly social open-plays, and even private events.

Meanwhile, later this year Park Padel will debut its third location in West Sacramento, when they open a four-court outdoor facility directly adjacent to the Sacramento River Cats baseball stadium (which will also be home to Major League Baseball’s Athletics franchise until their new stadium in Las Vegas is completed).

According to the Park Padel homepage, players of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels are invited to come, “enjoy stunning views of the Sacramento River waterfront while playing your favorite sport, then relax and socialize in our comfortable lounge area, with refreshments and snacks from iconic Drake’s: The Barn right next door.”

All told, Park Padel will operate 13 total courts in Northern California once these two new clubs open and a third court is added to their original Embarcadero location. But, this is only the beginning according to Talbert, who tells me their goal is to open 100 total courts over the next couple of years under the Park Padel banner.

We’ll be back soon with updates on both of Park Padel’s new openings and a full feature article based on my recent discussion with Talbert, so please be sure to stay tuned for more big Park Padel news out of Northern California!
