As if playing padel weren’t exciting and engaging enough, PlaySight, a global leader in sports video and analytics technology, has just unveiled a suite of new AI features that promises to forever change the way we all enjoy the sport going forward.

In fact, its new Automated AI Highlights feature will make it possible for players and racket clubs across the world to automatically create on-court highlight videos that can easily be accessed and widely shared within minutes.

According to the company:

“The Automated AI Highlights feature leverages PlaySight’s existing SmartCourt AI technology, which automatically tracks the player and the ball, analyzing their position speed and performance. The technology automatically identifies, in real-time during the action, all the match events and produces short video files of the best moments for the user, available immediately at the end of the match to the players and club.

This new feature is available directly through the PlaySight app and it enables both players and clubs to access, share, and analyse their best moments on the court, which can be easily shared across social media through their integrated sharing feature to platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.”

Of this major addition to its platform, PlaySight Co-Founder Chen Shacar said: “Automated AI Highlights represents the next step in making sports technology accessible, enjoyable, and shareable for all players. We’re thrilled to bring this feature to the global padel, tennis, and pickleball community and to empower players to capture and relive their best moments on the court.”

(Still) Leading the Way

While this AI offering may be new, PlaySight’s quest to revolutionize sports via video technology is anything but.

Originally founded in 2014, you’ll now find PlaySight’s technology firmly entrenched across the U.S. — and global — sports landscape. This includes partnerships with 20 NBA teams and another 8 WNBA teams… major U.S. college and university athletic programs including Stanford, Auburn, Georgia, Nebraska, and Dartmouth.

You’ll also find Playsight’s cutting-edge technology powering the USTA National Tennis Center in Lake Nona, FL (with its 100 + courts) and the IMG Academy ( which has 40+ courts w/all sports across campus), not to mention over 100 collegiate tennis programs.

So, it’s no surprise that leading U.S. padel clubs including Reserve and Padel Haus DUMBO have now partnered with PlaySight in order to deliver their members the highest-caliber experience possible — or that PlaySight was chosen to be streaming provider for this year’s inaugural US Padel Championships at Padel Haus.

And given this game-changing new offering, it’s a safe bet you’ll soon find PlaySight’s Automated AI Highlights technology in dozens more top-notch padel clubs around the U.S. and beyond.
