Well, that was fast! First, Padel Haus announced it would be opening its third — and final — permanent location in Brooklyn this fall and focusing solely on national expansion going forward. Now, just one week later, we get news that Padel Haus is set to open a massive padel club just 10 minutes outside downtown Nashville this summer.

The eight-court indoor club at 502 W Thompson Lane will be the company’s biggest location yet by far, and sets Padel Haus on the path for East Coast dominance as padel continues to gains popularity across the U.S.

While Sensa Padel has also announced plans to open a padel and pickleball facility in the Germantown neighborhood of Nashville, Padel Haus’ facility will almost assuredly be the first padel club to open both in Nashville and the entire state of Tennessee.

In fact, according to a statement from Padel Haus earlier today, construction started earlier this month on the 39,000-square-foot facility in the Berry Hill district of South Nashville, which neighbors Wedgewood Houston, and is conveniently located less than a 10-minute drive from both downtown Nashville and Brentwood.

The statement also noted: “The upcoming launch of the club has been enabled by the operator’s successful Seed & Series A funding rounds, which have raised a total of ~$11M to date. The opening in Nashville will solidify Padel Haus’ first-to-market strategy and demonstrates the company’s commitment as the dominant operator in the U.S.”

Santiago Gomez, the founder CEO of Padel Haus, added: “We are thrilled to be bringing Padel Haus to one of America’s most iconic cities. Nashville has undergone a real renaissance in recent years, as evidenced by the opening of other lifestyle brands such as Soho House and 1 Hotel, amongst many others.

Over the last 18 months, we have seen just how much New York City has taken to this incredible sport, and as a creative city that thrives on new trends, I am convinced that Nashville is the ideal place to launch our first location outside of NYC. The fact that we are first to market give us a competitive advantage and an interesting challenge ahead.”

In addition to eight indoor courts with 27-foot-high ceilings, the Nashville location will feature the renowned juice bar ‘Juice Haus’, premium locker rooms with rain showers, a rock climbing wall, a children’s playground, co-working spaces, and multiple social lounges.

“The opening of Padel Haus Nashville this summer will be a historic moment as the people of Nashville get to experience this dynamic sport for themselves,” said Gomez.

He then added, “With the opening of these courts and the Greenpoint location recently announced to open later this year, Padel Haus will operate 24 courts or 12% of the padel market in the U.S.

However, we are not stopping there; we are accelerating our plans to open many more clubs up and down the East Coast and nationwide. This is an exciting time for padel in the U.S. and we are thrilled to be taking the best sport in the world to new American cities.”
